About

My-Quran is an Android-based Islamic companion app built with React Native (Expo). It integrates with a public Quran REST API to deliver a feature-rich reading and listening experience, covering daily worship needs from Quran recitation to prayer schedules — all in a clean, mobile-first interface.

Key Features & Contributions

• Integrated with public Quran REST API for complete Al-Quran content with per-surah and per-verse navigation
• Implemented audio streaming for murottal (Quran recitation) playback at both surah and individual verse levels
• Built additional content modules: Yasin & Tahlil, daily doa (prayer) collection, and Ramadan shalat schedule
• Designed a responsive mobile UI with efficient API caching and smooth content navigation
• Published as a downloadable APK with direct GitHub Releases distribution
